Moody Holiday Table

Moody Holiday Table

‘Moody’ is the word at the moment. It implies shadowy light,  dark corners for deep conversations,  rich textures or colors. It has depth and soul.  For my holiday table this season I'm layering it with votives, taper candles, twinkle lights and setting my overhead dimmer just a little lower.
I'm using our Laurel Oversized Throw as the table runner.  It has this amazing weaved texture and frayed edges that bring so much depth to the table.
I'm layering our new Oakville placemat in ivory, with its artisanal heavyweight texture, it looks fresh off the loom. In contrast to the heavier textures all around, I used our Rutherford Napkins in blush - which feel airy, light, and ethereal.
I love the way candlelight dances over crystal glass.
